چکیده

Let sk = 1 √ N (v1k, . . . , vNk) T , k = 1, . . . ,K, where {vik, i, k = 1, . . .} are independent and identically distributed random variables with Ev11 = 0 and Ev 2 11 = 1. Let Sk = (s1, . . . , sk−1, sk+1, . . . , sK), Pk = diag(p1, . . . , pk−1, pk+1, . . . , pK) and βk = pks T k (SkPkS T k + σ 2 I)sk, where pk ≥ 0 and the βk is referred to as the signal-to-interference ratio (SIR) of user k with linear minimum mean-square error (LMMSE) detection in wireless communications. The joint distribution of the SIRs for a finite number of users and the empirical distribution of all users’ SIRs are both investigated in this paper when K and N tend to infinity with the limit of their ratio being positive constant. Moreover, the sum of the SIRs of all users, after subtracting a proper value, is shown to have a Gaussian limit.

Presented in this work are analytical expressions of the performance measure on the LMMSE estimate-based multiuser detector, including error probability expression and its computationally and notationally e cient approximations, signal to interference-plus-noise ratio, and asymptotic e ciency. Also included in this work are adaptive implementation schemes of the LMMSE detector and the equivalen...

Nonlinear Multiuser Receiver for Optimized Chaos-Based DS-CDMA Systems

Chaos based communications have drawn increasing attention over the past years. Chaotic signals are derived from non-linear dynamic systems. They are aperiodic, broadband and deterministic signals that appear random in the time domain. Because of these properties, chaotic signals have been proposed to generate spreading sequences for wide-band secure communication recently. Like conventional DS...

LMMSE receivers performance under non-ideal conditions

Linear minimum mean square error (LMMSE) receivers are capable of suppressing multiple access interference and near-far occurrences in a code division multiple access (CDMA) system operating in multipath fading wireless channels. Their relative low complexity makes them suitable for both uplink and downlink receivers. Third generation receivers are mainly based on coherent detection. Carrier fr...

Paper Reduction And Total Inter-Carrier Interference Cancelled Multiuser Detection In CFO Corrected CDMA-OFDM With Elliptic Curve Cryptography

The Code division multiple accesses with Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiple Modulation (CDMA-OFDM) system has been considered as a strong communication system for the next generation wireless communication performs excellent in noisy multipath channel because of low Peak to Average Power Ratio (PAPR) and interference cancellation of the transmitted signal at the receiver. In CDMA-OFDM, Mult...

Turbo multiuser detection with unknown interferers

We consider the problem of turbo multiuser detection for synchronous and asynchronous code-division multiple-access (CDMA) in the presence of unknown users. Turbo multiuser detectors, as previously developed, typically require knowledge of the signature waveforms of all of the users in the system and ignore users whose signature sequences are unknown, e.g., users outside the cell. In this paper...
